One of My Favourite DIYs to Date…

You know a project that you instantly fall in love with? Well, that’s what happened with this vintage coffee table makeover. The more I worked on this, the more I swooned over this DIY. This vintage coffee table makeover is taking our home to the interior style I want my whole home to look like, especially the decor styling I’ve done on top.

I’ve been looking to replace my coffee table for a while. I would have loved to have purchased this coffee table, but unfortunately, it’s not available to send to the UK and it is way over my budget. I thought it possible about building it, but wood is so expensive at the moment. Luckily, after a scroll on Facebook Marketplace, I found this one and it was perfect. It wouldn’t be exactly like the McGee & Co coffee table, but I could certainly DIY that vintage, used-but-loved look.

Along with loving the process of this coffee table makeover, I also embraced the dark. I decided to stain this project a dark walnut colour, which I love. It brings such warmth and texture to the home.

It’s also making me want to do more makeovers, I really want to get every room to those gorgeous interiors that I know it can be. If you’re following me on Instagram, you’ll know that I’m working on the laundry room right now, which I know will make me want to work on the kitchen, then the living room. This will continue until we’ve hit the attic, and I have a blog post about this coming very soon.
