Airport Outfit & Must-Have Essentials

All Packed-Up & Ready to Go…

As of today, I’m counting down the days till our holidays. And other than being packed a week in advance, the other thing I’ve been concentrating on is my airport outfit. Why is this an important thing you may ask? Well, I’ve reached a time in my life where it’s all about comfort and style. We are flying very early in the morning and if the weather is going to continue to be as glorious as it looks, it will be scorching by the time we land.

My airport outfit consists of linen. It’s breathable, light and comforting. The perfect transition from the UK to European weather. Now, when it comes to shoes, you have to bear in mind airport security. So it’s a pair of slip-on, slip-off shoes. For me, that’s espadrilles. These ones are gorgeous as well as comfortable.

Now with my airport outfit, I’m going to be using my beach bag as my handbag, to maximise space in my suitcase (there’s no need to bring one of my bigger bags just for the airport. This will go alongside my carry-on suitcase.

Finally, let’s talk about plane essentials. With our flight being so early, I’m going makeup-free and all the skincare. I cannot live without this facemask. I like all the moisture whilst up in the air. I’m also going to do eye patches and lip balm. Again, it’s all about the moisture.

This is our first holiday in over five years, so you bet we are going to take advantage of it and really live it up. And for me, that starts at the airport.
