AD Outdoor Dining Essentials

The Season for Getting Outside…

One of my favourite things to do in the summer is outdoor dining. When the weather is that perfect middle weather (not too hot, warm with a slight breeze) it’s time to eat outside. Particularly on the weekends, we’ll have most meals outdoors. Our courtyard is ideal as we get shade early morning and late evening, so we get the perfect climate for outdoor entertaining.

When it comes to outdoor dining, I like to take it to the next level, regardless of the occasion. It’s part of my philosophy to elevate everyday living. No matter what, take a moment to create joy in your everyday life. Thankfully, Tailor Made Living has made this so simple. Gorgeous pieces that help make entertaining extra special.

Simple Outdoor Dining.

First things first, it’s time for a table cloth. Even a simple white one will elevate your tablescape. On top of this, it’s time to get out some fancy plates. Our dark green stone ones are ideal for this dining opportunity. 

On top of the plate, I like to add a colourful napkin. These block print ones look great against the deep green. To finish them off, I added these brass napkin rings, the perfect mixture of modern and nature that give the table some whimsy. 

When it comes to hosting the food, I like a mixture of servingwear. This vintage white plate is ideal for the main dish. Of course, you can never go wrong with a bread basket. Every home should have one. As a side dish, this mango wooden leaf plate adds a little interest to the tablescape. 

To top the tablescape, I love to add some greenery. We have this lavender tree that is a great addition to the garden. I also pulled out this thyme plant from our kitchen. It pairs perfectly with our basil and tomato leaf candle.
