Another Makeover for My Home…

I’m so happy to be showing off this DIY wooden desk makeover. It’s been a project that I’ve wanted to do for a while, but have been waiting patiently for the right piece of furniture to come along. Thankfully, I didn’t have to wait that long.

As I’ve mentioned in my recent YouTube video, I found the desk on Facebook Marketplace for £15.00. It was perfect for the space that I needed it for. I wanted to change up our primary bedroom, give it a little extra warmth and depth. This piece of furniture has definitely inspired more pieces similar to it to come into the room. With my interior style, I think a wooden bench at the bottom of the bed would fit perfectly in this space.

The plan for this desk was to strop back a little more of the orange tones and bring this light wood into the home. I wanted something that was quick and easy to do. So, I decided to give the oven cleaner wood stripping project a go.

For this DIY wooden desk makeover, I’m going to once again direct you over to my Youtube channel. Whist the DIY itself is not that complicated, it’s easier to follow along with the video. In terms of the DIY, you really don’t need a lot for the oven cleaner wood stripping project.

The area itself is not complete. I’m still hunting done a wall mirror to go with the space. I also feel that I want to give the organisation of the drawers done again. Just really streamline the drawers so it’s easy to just get up and go in the mornings.
