Just a Few Touches to Elevate My Life…
I’m all about simple home comforts, elevating everyday life. January is all about retreat and cosy. I want a reset with this month. At the same time, I’m also planning for some future projects and events. It’s honestly where my brain is at.
There are a few simple home comforts that have been getting me through the month of January. These are a few that I think you’ll enjoy also.
Interior Design TV.
If you know me, I love a good interior design/ home renovation show. Recently I’ve been binging on Dream Home Makeover and Million Dollar Listing. All of these are giving me inspiration for my home projects.
Future Home Projects.
I’ve finally decided on the home projects that I want to take on almost immediately. For me, the laundry room is an important makeover that has to happen. This one is essential for storage and organisation. At the same time, I want to get started soon on making over our front door and garden. This will be a simple weekend project that will make such a difference to the curb appeal of the home, but also privacy.
If I can, I’d love to work on the kitchen, but this is not a priority. However, I did speak to my husband about going darker on the cabinets and I didn’t get an immediate no from him.
Veganuary.
I took on the Veganuary challenge and I’m loving it. Who knew I would love an all-plant diet, considering my love for cheese. However, this diet reset has been nice and is making me think about being a part-time vegan from now on.
This vegan recipe is absolutely delicious and something I’m constantly making.
ActiveWear.
Ever since I got a dog, I’m all about activewear. I’ve never owned so many trainers (two pairs but that’s going from zero). I’m obsessed with these slip-on trainers. They are so easy to throw on in the mornings and for going on quick walks. Plus they look amazing.
I’m also lusting over luxury knitwear to keep me toasty on these walks. This pullover is so soft and luxurious, like a huge hug.
Luxury Scents.
Whilst the weather is still wet and cold, I’m filling my home with a ton of candles. I’m filling the home with all the scents. This woodland one is stunning, it completely fills the room and smells amazing.
