My Everyday Perfume Collection

My staple scents…

I’ve always been into perfume. I was always into scents when I was young. So? body spray was my jam. My Aunty Janet would always be on top form at Christmas, buying me a perfume pretty much every single time. Slowly but surely my collection built up, but I would only really wear perfume on special occasions. It’s only been recently that I’ve started to build up my everyday perfume collection.

I would say it was since I went to New York to get married that I started to build up my everyday perfume collection. I, of course, had to go to Sephora for a little beauty spree and I ended up picking up Elizabeth & James Nirvana White. Now you can get it in the UK, but two years ago it was only available in the US so I HAD to pick up a bottle.

I love how certain scents can invoke memories. I also love their power to change your mood. As I’m getting ready for work, I always give myself a quick spritz and I can conquer the world. So here are some of my favourite everyday scents…

 

 

ELIZABETH AND JAMES NIRVANA WHITE

As I mentioned, this perfume reminds me of my wedding every single time I put it on. I loved it so much, I had to repurchase it. It has delicate notes peonies, chic muguet and musk. It’s a great light fragrance but it can also take you from day to night with a few extra spritzes. I highly recommended getting this if you are wanting to start your perfume collection. Plus, it looks super chic on your dressing table.

JO MALONE MIMOSA & CARDAMOM COLOGNE 

This perfume was gifted to me on my birthday and I absolutely love it. The bottle is packed full of golden mimosa, cardamom, creamy tonka and sandalwood. It’s warm and mesmerising. Yes, it might be a little heavy for the daytime, but it reminds me of warm summer days. So during the cold winter months, I love spraying this all over and taking me away from the dreary miserable weather.

MARC JACOBS DAISY LOVE

This was the first Marc Jacobs perfume I purchase and I really love it. It’s that light floral fragrance without being too flowery. Plus, the bottle is super cute! This is a great everyday perfume. Spritz on in the morning and off you go to conquer the world.

MARC JACOBS DAISY

The original fragrance of the Marc Jacobs Daisy collection and by far, my favourite scent out of the collection. This version is slightly deeper and muskier than the Daisy Love, But it’s not too heavy that you can’t wear throughout the day. I got it in the limited edition white bottle a few months back and it looks gorgeous on my vanity table. One that I’m 100% going to invest as soon as this one finishes.

GUCCI BLOOM

This one is just dreamy! With notes of Rangoon creeper, jasmine bud and natural tuberose. This is the heaviest of all the perfumes, very deep, and very fragrant. I’ve only just finished this one and I would love to invest again in this one, but it’s the most expensive of all my everyday perfume collections. I think this is one that I will be asking for as a gift for birthdays or maybe a treat for myself later on in the year. It’s a great one for wearing in the evenings but you can also put it on first thing in the morning.
